In an interesting case, a couple of students from Cactus Shadows High School in Cave Creek, Arizona reported feeling strangely to administration. The symptoms included elevated heart rate and euphoria. The students were immediately taken to the local hospital where it had been confirmed that they had ingested marijuana. Upon investigation, the students admitted to eating some birthday cake earlier that had been brought in by a peer. The cake had been laced with marijuana and served unbeknownst to the students that partook of the cake. The student responsible was arrested for endangerment charges.
