2. Paranoia – Excessive anxiety that often leads to paranoia can become apparent from certain drugs. Some drugs create this symptom while either under the influence of the drug or when suffering from withdrawal from the drug. The drug’s effects on the brain can lead to the effects of paranoia.

3. Sleeping habits – Sleeping too much or sleeping too little can be a sign of addiction. Drugs are either depressants or stimulants, so they can cause excessive motion and energy or drain the person’s innovations. In either case, negative sleep habits are often a symptom of drug abuse.
