Physical and mental abuse is often viewed as something from one person to another. With good reason, this is the most common form of abuse. But more often than is considered, self-abuse due to a drug addiction can be just as dangerous and destructive to a family.
It is important to consider the dangers drug abuse has on not only you, but those around you. It has a major effect on your friends and family, destroying your relationships as well as your own physical and mental health. It’s called “abuse” for a reason. Drugs abuse your mind and body when not treated properly.
