John O’Dea, LPC
John draws upon his years of experience as a therapist and program director to ensure the quality of our clinical services. He manages our budgets and personnel, ensuring that our program maintains current licensure standards along with the administrative support it needs to provide exceptional levels of treatment.
He has over 10 yrs experience as a therapist since graduating from Texas Tech University in 1995 with a masters degree in counseling. He has been licensed by the state of Texas as a professional counselor since 1998. Prior to embarking on the journey that is Solace Counseling, John worked at Homeward Bound, Inc first as a senior counselor and then as a program manager and program director. Previously, John was employed by South Plains College in Levelland, Texas as counselor responsible for students in Technical programs.
In his time away from Solace, John enjoys travel, spending time with friends, playing piano and home improvement projects. He is also a fan of the Dallas Stars.
